ARC Pilot

ARC Pilot is a free app that allows you to use your iPad + GameVice to interface with the motion control system in Dragonframe (version 4 or newer) stop motion animation software.ARC Pilot on iPad + GameVice
Install ARC Pilot through the App Store on your device. Requires iOS 11+.

Instructions:

  1. Launch Dragonframe software on the computer.
  2. Create a new scene or open an existing scene.
  3. Open Preferences, Advanced tab, and enable ‘ARC Pilot’.
  4. Launch ARC Pilot on your device.
  5. In ARC Pilot, press the button to scan the QR code in Dragonframe.
  6. Point the device’s camera at the QR code in Dragonframe’s Preferences | Advanced screen.

Once connected:

  • ARC Pilot will show the live video stream coming from Dragonframe.
  • Use the Dragonframe ARC workspace to set up your axes, and to configure the gamepad controls.
NOTE: Requires Dragonframe 4.2 or newer on a macOS, Windows, or Linux desktop system. Dragonframe is a separate purchase, and not included with this app.
