We’re excited to announce the imminent return of the Shaun the Sheep series to the big screen in the US. It sounds like the UK premiere of Aardman Studios’ “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon,” was already a huge hit and trailers look like another rollicking good time.
Like the TV series and first feature film, we’re proud to say that Farmageddon was made with Dragonframe software. In it, Shaun the Sheep is back for an adventure that will take him out of this world. Here he meets the mischievous and curious Lu-La, an alien who has crash landed near his farm. When it becomes all the more clear that Lu-La is homesick, Shaun and the rest of the sheep on his farm band together to concoct a plan to send Lu-La home.
The film premiered in Leicester Square, London last month and was well attended by actors like Nadia Rose, Joe Sugg, John Sparkes, Directing duo Will Becher & Richard Phelan, and Executive Producer and Aardman legend Nick Park. In honor of the animation, which is made by Aardman Animations in Bristol, re-decorated the iconic square in Shaun the Sheep’s favourite colour green, including a green carpet, rather than red, for the stars to walk. Ed Sheeran was there to see it, along with Eliza Doolittle and Rizzle Kicks, who feature on the soundtrack.
The film premieres November 24 in the US, at theaters nationwide. We can’t wait to see what the Aardman team has done this time!
