Set in the golden twenties, Café D’Amour is a spirited, magical cafè aiming cupid`s arrow at lonely visitors. At the café, street performer Lewis meets Coco, a wealthy, chubby woman. Although Coco has been disappointed by men, she is still hopeful and searching for Mr Right. The café spares no effort in bringing the two together to eventually hang up a photo of the “happy couple”—on its wall of trophies.

Benedikt Toniolo was born in Bruchsal in 1986, now he lives in Potsdam. In October 2015 he started his MA in Direction for Animation at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. From 2010-2015 he studied Animation at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. In September 2015 Benedikt received his Diploma in Animation from the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. From 2007-2010 he was a Graphic Designer at Tube20, an advertising agency in Ludwigsburg. In 2006 he graduated in Graphic Design from Carl-Hofer-Schule in Karlsruhe.
