Max Winston brings us another short with his unique vision and design so delicious you’ll wish your eyeballs had tastebuds so you could lick the screen. Commissioned by Super Deluxe for the holidays, “Mr Woop man’s Holiday Special” tells the classic tale of a man who doesn’t realize what he has till its lost. A story that has been told many times but never with this perfect combination of charm and genuine sweetness mixed with moments of pure Psychedelic hysteria.

Built in his back yard and shot entirely in his garage, “Mr Woop Man’s Holiday Special” has everything we love about stop motion. Almost all of the effects are done in camera, and everything is made by hand giving it that captivating charm that can sometimes get lost in the perfection of CG fixes and 3d printing. Pushing the boundaries of Stop motion while using its limitations to his advantage Max Winston takes us on yet another delirious and dreamy adventure, and I cant wait for the next one. Can someone give this guy a show already?
