LAIKA/house pulls out all the stops for Planter’s Peanuts in stop motion. Directors Mark Gustafson and Ringan Ledwidge lead an all star production team as they reinvent Mr. Peanut in three dimensions. The spot and mock “making of” footage are filled with Gustafson’s classic dry humor. Perfectly cast as Mr. Peanut, Robert Downy Jr. adds his usual wit and charm. We are excited to see if there are more spots on the way.
