I hate sports, but if there were a way to give all athletic games this exact aesthetic, I would be out tailgating and painting my face at every match. “Trace” is an installation piece created by an animation pair Kijek/Adamski exhibited at La Gaîté Lyrique.

The installation is a whopping 65 feet of shocking color and mesmerizing shapes. I’m hoping they can find a way to weave their aesthetic with technology to create some kind of sports goggles. I want to see so much more of this. Fortunately, the installation is on a perfect loop so it never has to end.
